Horses are amazing
teachers and
reflections of
ourselves and our
spirit. The
experience at Equine
Escapes is truly
unique for each
person. When you
arrive, your
experience will
begin by an
introduction to the
herd and safety
instructions.
Shortly thereafter,
your journey will
begin in beautiful
movements and
connections on the
ground with the
horses and the
bonding and
relationship will
begin. After your
horse has selected
you, additional
bonding time will be
available during
grooming and quiet
time with your horse
while we prepare the
for the ride.
To continue the experience, some horseback riding experience is necessary. Some instruction will be provided and a demonstration of basic horse riding skills must be shown. Basic riding lessons are available to prepare you for your journey on the horse’s back, however you must arrange for this ahead of time and come early on the day of your reservation.
During your riding experience in the natural wooded forest, we encourage you to keep your senses aware and your connection with your horse open. Open yourself to fully experience the journey….unsuspecting and ready…. and allow your horse to show you new things about nature, yourself and life!
